From Africa to Australia by way of Asia, I invite you to discover the thoughts and feelings of a carefree Westerner, abruptly confronted with other realities. Like thousands of young people of my generation who set off to the four corners of the globe, I hit the road, and I am taking you with me so that you can understand what we find out there and, I hope, be reminded of the privilege we have to share such a beautiful and diverse planet.
